SPROUTECH
Empowering teens through technology
About Us
We believe every teen, no matter their economic background, should have the opportunity to learn at least the basics about computer science and engineering. Seeing the growing digital divide, Sproutech set out to create fun, hands-on programs that introduce teens to programming in a way that's accessible, playful, and empowering.
Our mission
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to to empower teens with limited access to technology by introducing them to computer programming and creative technology projects through fun, accessible, and hands-on learning-while also reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste by repurposing and recycling tech equipment for educational use.

What we do
-
Digital Access for All:

We provide teens with free access to computers and tech education, helping close the digital divide.

-
Environmental Impact:

The world generates 62 million tons of e-waste every year, and most of it ends up in landfills. We give old computers a second life—keeping them out of the trash and reducing pollution.

-
Teaching Future Skills:

Teens learn computer basics, coding, robotics, and digital literacy—preparing them for school, jobs, and a tech-driven future.

-
Community Empowerment:

We build computer centers in under-resourced areas, creating safe learning spaces and sparking long-term community growth.
Services
Providing computer Centers

Coding Education
We offer free coding lessons for the youth, teaching them foundational programming skills and encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
Robotics & Hands-On STEM
We introduce children to robotics through interactive lessons and activities, guiding them in building and programming robots.

Tons of electronic waste is improperly disposed each year
78%
Of electronic waste ends up in landfills or is processed unsafely
E-waste contains harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, which can damage the environment and cause serious health problems-especially for children
Our solution
We give old computers a second life-diverting them from landfills and putting them in the hands of teens who need them to learn, grow, and succeed
